SSU bowling, XC, swimming in action on road this weekend

The bowling, cross country and swimming programs will all be in action over the course of the weekend for Shawnee State as the women's and men's cross country programs will be in action at the JennaStrong Fall Classic Friday evening while the women's and men's bowling programs will compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference's Event No. 2 on Saturday and the women's and men's swimming programs will participate at the Union Commonwealth Tri-Meet alongside Union Commonwealth and NCAA Division III Centre (Ky.) on Saturday as well.

Friday, Oct. 18 -- SSU women's and men's cross country (JV) at JennaStrong Fall Classic

The women's and men's cross country programs at Shawnee State will send its junior varsity squads to compete at the JennaStrong Fall Classic Friday afternoon in late additions to the schedule that will see the women compete at 4:30 p.m. and the men at 5:15 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Shawnee State will look to continue building off of a month that has already seen the Bears set 15 personal bests. Natalie Brammer, Garrett Carver and Luke Butler were among three of those 15 runners to set personal best times earlier this month -- with all three doing so at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational.
