
SSU MBB to hold HS Shootout June 6-7; Bear Principles Basketball Camp June 9-11
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- The men's basketball program at Shawnee State will be holding two separate events over the first two weeks in June -- as Michael Hunter's program will hold the Shawnee State High School Shootout on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 at Waller Gymnasium on the Shawnee State University campus and will then hold the Bear Principles Basketball Camp from Monday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 11 at Waller Gymnasium as well.
A rundown of both camps are below:
Shawnee State Men's High School Shootout (Friday, June 6-Saturday, June 7)
In regard to the high school shootout, the Shawnee State Men's Basketball High School Shootout will consist of games throughout the day on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7. Teams who register will sign up for either one day or the other -- as the days do not flow together.
The shootout costs $200 per team -- with each team being guaranteed three games including one on Shawnee State's main court inside Waller Gymnasium. Concessions will be offered on site.
There will be an optional campus tour in addition to team film with the Shawnee State men's basketball staff offered to all teams that sign up.

Shawnee State Bear Principles Basketball Camp (Monday, June 9-Wednesday, June 11)
Along with the high school shootout, the Shawnee State men's basketball program will be holding the Bear Principles Basketball Camp, which runs from Monday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Bear Principles Basketball Camp will be held for fourth graders through seniors in high school. The price of the basketball camp is $75 per participant.
