
Bears Head South for MSC Spring Invitational
On April 3rd and 4th, the Shawnee State Men's Golf team traveled south to Bear Trace Golf Club in Crossville, Tennessee, to compete in the Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational.
Leading the way for the Bears would be Daulton McDonald who would post scores of 79-78-78 on his way to a tie for 39th. Austin Barta finished in a tie for 45th place after contributing scores of 77-79-81. Trey Albert also competed for the Bears, posting scores of 82-83-82 en route to a 52nd-place finish. Ben Flanders would throw in scores of 86-84-82 over the two days of competition for a 58th-place finish. Rounding out the lineup for the Bears would be Kyle Salamon. Salamon would post scores of 93-82-87 over the three rounds of competition finding himself in 61st place. As a team, the Bears posted scores of 324-322-323 on their way to a 10th-place finish.
The Men's Golf team will be back in action on April 7th, and 8th as they travel to Urbana Country Club in Urbana, Ohio, to compete in the ODU Bill Blazer Memorial.
