
Lou Cross Country Classis Recap
The SSU Cross Country team competed at the Live in Louisville Cross Country Classic meet. The men's team finished in 4th out of 46 teams, the highest placing of SSU men's in at this classic. Along with the highest place, the men's team had their fastest average time (25:33) at this Louisville meet. There were two Shawnee men athletes that finished within the Top 25, Adien Kammler (senior) finished 13th (25:03.6) and Trevor Lanoy (freshman) finished in 25th place (25:17.2). Lanoy time ranks him as the #3 fastest freshman time in SSU history.
The Shawnee Women placed 40th overall. The women were led by Olivia Cisco (sophomore) with a time of 20 minutes and 40 seconds and Jessica Elick (freshman) finishing in 21 minutes and 2 seconds.
The Bears will be back in action in Peoria, Illinois for the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday, October 13th.
