
SSU earns No. 7 seed in NAIA National Tournament, to face No. 10-seed Loyola (La.) in first round
The 64-team NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship Tournament field was unveiled Thursday evening, with the Shawnee State women's basketball program drawing a No. 7 seed in the field and being assigned to a familiar site for Bears loyalists as Shawnee State will held to Williamsburg, Ky. to face No. 10-seeded Loyola (La.) in the First Round of the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship in a bracket reveal that was pushed out by national officials.
The contest between the Bears and the Wolf Pack will be held Friday, March 14 at 8 p.m. -- with the winner to take on the winner of the additional NAIA Opening Round contest in Williamsburg between No. 2 Cumberlands (Ky.) and No. 15 Eastern Oregon Saturday, March 15 at 6 p.m.
The team that wins both contests will advance to the NAIA National Tournament's final site -- the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa -- with play beginning Thursday, March 20 and running through Tuesday, March 25.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING
To get to the facility, take Exit 11 off of Interstate 75 and turn on Kentucky Route 92. Make a left turn onto Kentucky State Route 2386 (South Tenth Street), then a right onto South Second Street. Stay on South Second Street and from there, one can take either School Street, Renfro Street or Maple Street to get to the O. Wayne Rollins Center.
Parking spots are located off of School Street, Renfro Street, Maple Street, Elm Street, South 7th Street and South 9th Street with South 9th Street having the largest parking spaces.
