Baird, Foose, Long, Rearick, Roades named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
A total of five women's bowlers were named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes as Cali Baird, Brooklyn Foose, Chloe Long, Hannah Rearick and Mckenna Roades were all bestowed with the association's highest honor Wednesday.
Long, who holds a perfect 4.0 GPA as a graduate student pursuing her master's in occupational therapy, led the way, while Roades notched a 4.0 herself in studio arts.
Rearick and Foose continued the excellent work behind Long and Roades as the pair hold GPAs of 3.94 and 3.91, respectively. Rearick has earned over 95 hours of credit while Foose has over 80 herself.
Baird, who is a sociology major, has a 3.52 GPA with over 65 hours of academic credit.
Of the five NAIA Scholar-Athletes on this list, Long is the only one who graduates as the remaining four honorees will be back as part of a women's bowling program that qualified for the Intercollegiate Team Sectionals for the second time in program history.
