Bears Fall on Wednesday Night Against Lindsey Wilson

For their third season game, the Shawnee State Women's Soccer team would hit the road to Lindsey Wilson College to play at 7:00 P.M. The Bears would fall 3-1 to the Blue Raiders at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.

Starting off the first half, Naluggwa, Ashiat takes the first shot of the game for Lindsey Wilson in the 3rd minute. She would not give up and the first goal of the game would come early in minute 9 by Naluggwa, Ashiat, and assisted by Marchesi, Silva. Shawnee State's left-wing Brianna Brudy would carry the ball until Lindsey Wilson's box and take a shot that went on the bottom left of the goal and was saved by the Blue Raiders keeper Duerson, Gabby. In total, for the first half, the Bears had 4 shots, 3 saves, and one corner. Lindsey Wilson and 9 shots, 4 saves, and 3 corners.

The second half would start, and just in the first minute, number 20 Marchesi, Silva would score the second goal for Lindsey Wilson. That was not enough for Silva and 12 minutes later she would score the third goal for the Blue Raiders, Silva would have a great game with one assist and two goals. The Shawnee State Bears would keep trying to reduce the goal difference in the game by having 4 shots on goal in the second half, but all of them would be saved by the Blue Raiders keeper Duerson Gabby. The game ended 3-0 for Lindsey Wilson.

The Shawnee State Women's Soccer will be back on the Road to play College of IDAHO at Lindsey Donnell Stadium-Kirk Field, kick-off at 2:00 P.M.
